Menswear Brunch Attire
As I was consolidating the photos on my computer, I realized that I had not shared the details on my look from the Menswear Blogger Brunch! I know - I should be ashamed - but I'm back on track now!
As I have stated before, I love pairing classic pieces with modern flair. The two button flannel jacket that I purchased from J.Crew a few years ago goes with so much. I wore it with a denim on denim look (also J.Crew). Special note; when wearing more than one denim piece, I believe that it is important to not match but to pick washes that are contrasting. It adds depth and keeps one from looking too "matchy." For this look, I decided to wear a more formal shoe (Hugo Boss) to dress the look up a bit more, and threw in a classic white pocket square (Nordstrom) and silk knot (Brooks Brothers).
