Music

Music has always been a constant in my life. Some of my earliest and most vivid memories are tied to the sound of harmonies filling my home, whether singing alongside my brothers or being captivated by the music around me. It wasn’t just background noise—it was a language, a force, and a way to connect with the world.

That connection only deepened as I grew. In 2012, I stepped into a defining moment in my career when I took on the role of Sportin’ Life in Akron Symphony’s production of Porgy and Bess—one of their best-selling shows to date. That performance led to an invitation to Opera’s Greatest Moments, where I sang selections from La Traviata and Otello. But my love for music has never been confined to one genre or one stage. I’ve performed at weddings, ceremonies, and workshops, recorded in studios, and lent my voice to Grammy-winning artists and headliners such as Eric Church, Nelly, Lauren Daigle, The War & Treaty, Rend Collective, and so many more. Each experience has shaped the way I approach music—not just as a singer, but as a storyteller.

I have always believed that music has the power to transform a moment, shift an atmosphere, and connect people in ways nothing else can. Whether it’s classical, R&B, gospel, jazz, or musical theatre, I am drawn to the way different styles communicate emotion and meaning. My voice is a part of who I am, and I will always find ways to use it.

Some stages are grand, some are intimate, but the heart behind the music never changes. No matter where I sing or who I sing with, my goal is always the same: to make people feel something real.
