Elegant Ladies Fashion Show - 2017
Nashville Fashion Week has come to a close, and this year I had the privilege to attend a few events. One in particular that I was invited to was the Elegant Ladies Fashion show. If you have been reading for a while, you will likely remember Melissa of Fab Glance from our previous collaboration. She invited me as well as other local bloggers to cover this event as VIP Media. Upon speaking with her about the event, I quickly learned that a portion of what they raised would be given out in scholarships for young women. My attendance was a given, had there been any doubt before.
Upon arrival, I was admitted to the VIP reception where we met the designers, had a small preview of some of the looks, and met other local fashion and style enthusiasts, bloggers, and designers.
The show itself featured local designers of all ages and styles. I always appreciate versatility and creativity in style, and this show offered all of that and more. It was also refreshing to see such great talent within the Nashville community. It’s easy to look past a city when it comes to an industry that they are not particularly known for, but it was great to see we have some serious contenders.
