Wine, Women, and Shoes - 2018
Some of you may remember a similar post that I shared about a year ago. If not, here's the low down. I was asked to appear as the Celebrity Shoe Judge for the YWCA of Middle Tennessee's Annual Fundraiser, 'Wine, Women, and Shoes.' In this, my job was simple - I just had to select four winners for 'Best Shoe' at the event; Sexiest Stiletto, Fabulous Flat, Bodacious Boot, & Prettiest Pump. What could be better?! Beautiful women, beautiful shoes, and a great cause.
Though this year I was asked to appear in the same role, I participated not only as the local celebrity, but as a part of the Junior Board for the YWCA of Nashville Middle Tennessee. When I was asked to join the board, I was excited to not only serve in this capacity, but to also share my experience and expertise with others of like mind and goals. It has been such an honor to serve in this capacity and I am excited to keep going with it.
The YW (as we affectionately call it) seeks to Eliminate Racism and Empower Women. Two causes that I can stand behind and work for. Not only do they have this major fundraiser, they also have AMEND, Girls Inc, Dress for Success, run a domestic violence shelter for women and children, and other Annual Events. I had a great time and saw first hand the impact that this organization seeks to make in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee community.
