The Versatility of a Leather Boot
Like I said before, I love the thrill of piecing new looks together that I have never worn before. I wore this last week for the first time and I wanted to share it with you, as it is definitely a great cold weather look that is easy to pull off.
These Gordon Rush boots were purchased last year while Christmas shopping (I know…) and they have been in rotation ever since. I love how they are so easily matched with so many of my items that I already own. They bring a sense of rugged elegance to many looks.
For this look, I paired it with some Nudie Jeans, and a lavender lambs-wool crew sweater that I picked up from JCrew. And you already know how I feel about my Tommy Hilfiger camel topcoat; a cold weather staple for EVERY man’s wardrobe.
Special note: I also put a band collar shirt underneath the sweater. Small details that many others wouldn't notice are another favorite of mine. Find some other ways to add character to your looks – no risk, no reward!
